Guitar tablature (shortened to tab) is another way of charting chords or notes to be played on the guitar. It is a little bit more complicated to read compared to the regular guitar chord chart that one may have been used to. The advantage of easy to learn guitar tabs is being able to play the chords with the right timing and strumming. There are letters or characters that show on the tabs beside the fret number that instruct on how to hit the string/s. At the start, you may ignore the letters or characters to get used to the chords initially. In reading guitar tablature, it is best to listen first to the song or music that you want to play on the guitar. You will get the idea better on what needs to be done with a particular note or chord.

Easy to learn guitar tablature will do well for those who want to play the guitar almost like how it is played originally. But sometimes there are guitar tablature that miss the correct sequence, note or fret. Again, for this, you will need to listen on the correct sequence of the chords from the song. Then try to play what shows on the guitar tab. Usually, when you play as instructed in the tab, your ears and fingers could almost feel the next note to hit. For regular guitar chords charted for a song, once a couple of chord and frets are wrong, it takes a longer time to try and find the correct notes.

On a first person account, I tested a site with a basic instruction for easy to learn guitar tabs. When it came to the song guitar tablature to be tried, I followed the frets and strings to be hit. It did not sound like it all. What I did was to play it on the guitar by “ear” and found out the guitar tablature gave the right strings but some wrong frets and sequence! With this experience not all might be correct for easy to learn guitar tabs. The good thing with guitar tabs it is a lot easier to find or adjust to the correct note or chord.

A given advantage for easy to learn guitar tabs is the presentation of striking or hitting strings one at a time in the right sequence. Guitar players who would want to learn playing lead guitar could learn fast with easy to learn guitar tabs. It’s really simple. If the frets show in a single vertical line, then it means all the strings should be strummed all at the same time. If the frets show one at a time on the strings and spread out, then it means each string has to be hit one at a time as shown on the sequence at the tab. As long as you would be able to find well written guitar tabs it should be easy to play songs especially those like “Hotel California” or “Stairway to Heaven” that have nice lead guitar solos. For those not familiar in reading guitar tabs instructions are easy to follow on many guitar tab sites.
